About The Event
On the 28th of June 2024, at 8:00 AM, the school hosted a special assembly to honor and celebrate the outstanding achievements of our students. The assembly was divided into two blocks: SFS Block and Mermier Block. The event recognized students' hard work and dedication through various awards including the Star Assembly, Star Class, 100% Attendance for session 2023-24, and Rank Holders for the Term 2 examinations of the 2023-2024 session.
The ceremony commenced with a warm welcome by the hosts, acknowledging the presence of the respected Principal, Vice-Principal, Coordinators, teachers, and students in SFS Bock. Also, the SFS NCC band displayed an enthralling band display leaving everyone in awe. The introductory speech highlighted the importance of celebrating academic excellence and dedication. Similarly, in the MERMIER Block, the ceremony began with a welcome to the respected Vice-Principal, Fr. Melvin, Coordinators, teachers, and students.
Star Assembly Awards (SFS Block):
The first category of awards was for the Star Assembly. The Principal, Fr. George Thomas, presented the prizes to the following winners:

Next, the awards for the Best Star Class were announced. The winners were:
Category 1 (Classes 1-2): Class 1D
Category 2 (Classes 3-5): Class 3B
Category 3 (Classes 6-8): Class 6B
Category 4 (Classes 9-12): Class 9D
The respective class teachers, along with the class captains and vice-captains, received the prizes.
100% Attendance Awards (SFS Block):
The assembly continued with the recognition of students who achieved 100% attendance during the 2023-24 session. Fr. George Thomas presented the certificates to the following dedicated students:
Rank Holders Badge Distribution (SFS Block & MERMIER Block):
The ceremony concluded with the distribution of badges to the rank holders for the Term 2 examinations of the 2023-2024 session. These students were recognized for their exceptional academic performance.
The Principal, Fr. George Thomas, addressed the assembly in SFS Block, congratulating the winners and encouraging all students to continue striving for excellence. He emphasized the importance of hard work, dedication, and perseverance in achieving success. Similarly, the Vice Principal, Fr. Melvin addressed the assembly in the MERMIER Block.
Both assemblies in SFS and MERMIER Block concluded with a final round of applause for all the award winners. The hosts thanked everyone for their attention and participation, urging all students to keep working hard and aiming high. The event successfully wrapped up the prize distribution ceremony around 8.45 am, leaving students inspired and motivated.
