About The Event
The Professional Development Program on "Child Safety & Driving Guidelines" was designed and conducted for the support staff and bus staff of SFS Guwahati on 12th August 2023. The aim of the program was to enhance the participants' understanding of child safety protocols and driving guidelines to ensure the well-being of students during transportation. The Resource Person was Mr. Rittick Bhattacharjee, who has been serving as a Transport Assistant in DELHI PUBLIC SCHOOL, GUWAHATI since July 2012 and is well-skilled.
The session started around 11.00 am where the support staff and the bus staff were provided valuable insights into child behavior during transportation and shared best practices for ensuring their safety. Participants engaged in interactive workshops, where they practiced securing child restraints, learned hands-on techniques for managing student behavior during transit, and simulated emergency response scenarios.
