SFS Guwahati organised a Student Council Leadership Training Programme on 22nd May 2026 from 8:30 AM to 9:30 AM at Mermier Hall, aimed at empowering student leaders with essential qualities of leadership, teamwork, communication, and responsibility.
The programme commenced with a warm welcome to Rev. Fr. Melvin, Principal of SFS Guwahati, distinguished guest speaker Madam Tinat Atifa Masood, teachers, and Student Council members of session 2026-27, followed by a prayer seeking divine blessings for the session.
The highlight of the programme was the inspiring leadership session conducted by Madam Tinat Atifa Masood, a renowned NLP and IELTS trainer, motivational speaker, leadership trainer, happiness coach, poet, writer, and influencer from Guwahati. Through her engaging interaction with students, she shared valuable insights on leadership, teamwork, self-confidence, resilience, communication, and personal growth.
Drawing from her vast experience and inspiring life journey, Madam Tinat encouraged students to recognise their strengths, embrace responsibility, and grow into confident leaders.
As a token of appreciation, Rev. Fr. Melvin, Principal of SFS Guwahati, felicitated Madam Tinat with a traditional Gamusa.
Addressing the gathering, Rev. Fr. Melvin encouraged student leaders to lead with integrity, responsibility, and compassion while becoming positive role models within the school community.
The session witnessed enthusiastic participation from Student Council members, making it a meaningful platform for learning and self-development. The programme concluded with a Vote of Thanks delivered by Murchana Kashyap, School Head Girl.
The training programme reaffirmed SFS Guwahati’s commitment to nurturing responsible, confident, and compassionate future leaders.
