About The Event
On June 12, 2024, SFS Guwahati organized an exclusive session for the students of Class 11 (Sections IC NEET and IC JEE) featuring Prayash Duarah, a remarkable student who cleared the challenging JEE Mains and Advanced exams with an impressive rank of 4978 pan-India. The event, aimed at motivating and guiding the aspirant students, was held in the Mermier hall of the SFS Block and commenced at 10:00 am.
The program began with a prayer song, creating a serene and focused atmosphere. Following the prayer, Fr. George Thomas delivered a warm welcome address, extending a hearty welcome to Mr. Prayash Duarah and acknowledging his inspiring achievements. Prerana Sharma then felicitated Mr. Prayash Duarah, marking the formal beginning of the session.
Prayash, the young prodigy who completed his coaching from KOTA, Rajasthan, shared his journey and the strategies that helped him succeed in one of the toughest competitive exams in India. He emphasized the importance of dedication, consistent hard work, and effective time management. Prayash also recounted the challenges he faced and how he overcame them, providing valuable insights and inspiration to the aspiring students.
The session was organized under the guidance and intervention of the Academic Director, Dr. Sangeeta Bharali Dutta, who envisioned this thoughtful program to inspire and motivate the students. The support and coordination of Fr. George Thomas were instrumental in bringing this event to fruition.
The event concluded at 11:30 am, leaving the students with renewed motivation and practical advice to pursue their academic goals with greater zeal and determination.
